Unexpected Hardship Relief Fund
Make a DonationInspired by some of the customers in our Azure Family, this fund aims to help fellow Azure Standard customers afford food during difficult times.
Azure began receiving unsolicited donations from customers asking that their money be put toward the account of someone who needed it. The intended recipient may have suddenly become unable to draw an income due to acute illness or injury, or had a recent tragedy (such as their house burning down), or perhaps the bread-winner of the family was incapacitated for a time and had family circumstances that made it difficult to afford food for a time. We were amazed and pleased at the kind generosity of Azure customers, and their concern and care for other Azure customers. There is a big need for this right now, and we are in a position to be the trusted facilitator to move the funds from those who desire to give to those who are in sincere need.
So, we have created the Unexpected Hardship Relief Fund. You can donate to it (if you are able) and you can suggest someone else in the Azure Family who desperately needs (and would appreciate) Azure food during their time of need.
Each suggested person will be seriously considered on a first-come-first-served basis, and preference will be given to those who are current and active Azure customers, and those they recommend. There may be a waiting list if there are not yet enough funds to cover everyone who needs assistance.
Your donation can be made in three ways:
- Transfer credit on your Azure account to the Fund
- Send a check to Heritage Congregation, 79915 Dufur Valley Road, Dufur, OR 97021. Please specify the fund you are donating to. You may request a donation receipt as needed for tax purposes.
